During LeAnn Rimes‘ performance at The Lodge at Blue Sky in Park City, Utah, on Friday (November 15), the 42-year-old country singer played a series of her classic hits for the small crowd. The set was part of the Auberge Second Annual Concert Series, and featured the two-time Grammy winner performing stripped down versions of fan favorites “How Do I Live,” “Spaceship” and “Can’t Fight the Moonlight” from the 2000 cult classic film, Coyote Ugly. Rimes’ track was the film’s theme song, which was written by the movie’s main character, Violet Sanford, played by Piper Perabo. As the movie finishes, “Can’t Fight the Moonlight” becomes Violet’s big break into the music industry after Rimes – who was playing herself in the film – records a version of it. (People)
